Our story

It started with the fires he was called to

George Tracey is a professional firefighter. Again and again he attended chimney fires and heating incidents caused by poorly installed stoves and unsafe chimneys. In 2011 he founded The Soot Doctor so homeowners could get installations done safely and properly.

Flamestyle followed: a showroom where people could see beautiful fires and stoves, and get honest advice from people who understand how they should be installed. George pairs that fire-safety knowledge with a flair for design and real construction experience.

That's why we can say yes to projects others turn down, from suspended fires and media walls to wood stoves in timber cabins, and deliver them safely.
