An award from the makers
Charnwood voted Flamestyle their Retailer of the Year. It's recognition from the people who build the stoves, for how we advise customers, look after them, and install every Charnwood we sell.
As main agent for Charnwood and its sister brand Vlaze in Ireland, we keep the range on display in our dedicated Charnwood & Vlaze showroom in Bray.
About Charnwood
Charnwood stoves are made by A.J Wells & Sons, a family business founded on the Isle of Wight in 1972 and now run by the second and third generations. It is one of the most respected stove makers in Europe, and in 2024 received the King's Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
Every stove is built from plate steel, cast iron, firebrick and ceramic glass, each chosen for its job. Clean-burn and air-wash systems re-burn gases and keep the glass clear, and the whole range meets Ecodesign Ready standards.
Flamestyle is the main Charnwood agent in Ireland and Charnwood's Retailer of the Year, with installation by our sister company, The Soot Doctor.

Clean-burn technology re-ignites the gases for more heat and less smoke, and meets Ecodesign Ready standards.
An integrated air-wash sweeps the glass so you see the flame, not the soot.
Precision seals and air controls let you set the burn, or let the i-Blu models do it for you.
Plate steel, cast iron and firebrick, made by a family firm that designs its stoves to be repaired.
