Available as the Mapleton 100 and the smaller Mapleton 80, this freestanding electric stove offers real presence wherever it sits. The solid cast-iron housing and traditional stove styling give it the genuine look and feel of a wood burner, combining elegance, durability and everyday convenience in a single striking piece.

Optimyst®: realistic three-dimensional flames

The Mapleton uses Dimplex’s Optimyst® technology to create true three-dimensional flames from a fine water vapour, lit by warm yellow LEDs. Visible through three glass panels — front and both sides — the effect adds remarkable depth and can be enjoyed from multiple angles, drawing you in from across the room. Because the “flames” are made of water vapour and light, there’s no real fire, no fuel and no mess.

Heat, sound and flames in one

Beyond the flame effect, the Mapleton features an integrated heating element with an adjustable thermostat, so you can set it to your preferred warmth. Realistic crackling sound effects complete the atmosphere, while a space at the base lets you store real logs — enhancing the traditional aesthetic and giving the stove an authentic, lived-in look.

Easy to use, easy to refill

Operating the Mapleton couldn’t be simpler. Open the cast-iron door, lift out the log set and remove the water tank to refill — giving you hours of continuous flames and sound. For a fully traditional finish, an optional flue collar can be added, letting you fit a decorative stove pipe to complete the classic chimney look.
