GlammFire · Portugal
York is GlammFire’s automatic bioethanol grate, designed to bring a traditional fireplace back to life. It sits in an existing hearth like a classic fire basket, with a remote-controlled real flame and no need for a working chimney. See it burning live on display in our Bray showroom.
01 — Made for your fireplace
York slips into an existing opening under your mantelpiece, so a period or disused fireplace becomes a real, working fire again without flue works.
02 — Automatic
The Crea7ion EVOPlus 400 burner lights, adjusts and switches off by remote, and an electronic filling system with its own pump keeps refuelling clean and simple.
03 — Safe
Levelling, vibration, leakage, overfill and overheating sensors, plus a locking tank door, watch over the fire so you can simply enjoy it.
GlammFire describes York as straight, elegant lines that carry the memory of the traditional fireplace into the present. It has the proportions of a classic grate, finished in lacquered steel or rusted Corten, with a 400 mm line of real flame and 2.25 kW of warmth.
It is ideal for period homes, Victorian and Georgian fireplaces, and any hearth where the chimney is blocked, capped or no longer safe to use. A 3.5-litre tank gives 7 to 10 hours of flame, and it can run from mains power or its rechargeable battery. Handmade in northern Portugal, it suits rooms from 15 m².
