The new Contura i50/i51 is completely new inside. The firebox now has more volume thanks to a new concave cast-iron base and vermiculite lining. With this additional space the fire is more visible and the visual effect is enhanced.
Artstone is a cast stone, unique to Contura, available in polished natural or stained white. The insert is easy to position in the home: It takes up very little space and can be placed against a combustible wall. Supplement with a black painted steel log box.
The door is opened by pushing it up. The uplift door gives you better access to the firebox.
Due to the size of the insert it is possible to light a fire using logs up to 50 centimeters. This gives you a large and attractive fire that burns for longer.
